Made this and cookie truffles for shabbos desserts (the truffles for our milchig shalash seudis, with cookie variation). Turned out sooo well and ridiculously easy!
Chocolate Pretzel Bark
Bag and a half of parve choco chips (or any chocolate)
Bag and half of parve white choco chips (or any white or colored chocolate)
3 teaspoons white cake mix
Regular flat pretzels square or pretzel shaped
Sprinkles of choice
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat (silicone mat rocks).
Melt dark chocolate either in the microwave or a double boiler or microwave. I suggest adding a little oil which makes it smoother and melt faster (NEVER USE WATER WITH CHOCOLATE)
Lay out pretzels on baking sheet until they fill up the whole space but are only one layer thick.
Pour melted dark chocolate over the pretzels and spread with spatula. Then put in the freezer for 10 min or until its completely cooled.
Melt your white chocolate. Whisk in cake mix slowly, stirring well until smooth. Let it sit for approximately 3 minutes (or at least until it slightly thickens).
Remove pan with set chocolate from the freezer and pour white chocolate on top, repeating the same spreading technique as you did with the dark chocolate. Toss sprinkles on right away. Freeze for 20 more minutes.
Once set, break or cut into pieces. Store in the refrigerator.
**This was incredibly easy and fast!!! It is one of the best snacks I’ve ever made and makes SUCH a cute gift!
